Hello! My name is Carrie Cochran, and I am a freelance editor and copywriter specializing in the Travel Industry. Here’s a little bit about me:
I completed my professional copywriting certification through AWAI–one of the best copywriting organizations in the world! Prior to that, I earned my bachelor’s degree in English with a Professional Writing concentration from Pensacola Christian College.
During college, I worked as an intern at Study Breaks Magazine and as an editor for the Fountains literary journal.
Now, I run my own freelance business here at Cochran Writing and Editing, providing travel clients of all sizes with copywriting materials, editing services, and UGC content. I’ve worked with a variety of businesses, from a film tourism blog to New York County tourism boards and travel advisors! With each and every client, I’ve ensured that their copy is flawless and their message is clear.
When I’m not working, I like to travel to new places, take photos, and find new content for my blog, Carried Away Travels. (Formerly known as The Mandala Traveler)
I feature various trips, events, and travel tips, many of which are budget-friendly. You’ll find guides to amusement parks and foreign cities, hiking destinations, unique hotel stays, and full-day itineraries for exploring gorgeous towns.
