But to close out 2024, I have 7 great travel products that are perfect for travelers of all kinds, whether you like to camp in the mountains, fly in comfort, or spend your days exploring the city. So, if you’re ready, let’s go!

Coalatree Puffy Kachula Adventure Blanket

If you spend any time enjoying the great outdoors, it’s always smart to have a good blanket on hand. But if you’re flying to your destination or need to hike a bit to reach it, you want that blanket to be lightweight and packable, which is where Coalatree Puffy Kachula Blankets come in.
These innovative blankets have a built-in zipper pocket, so they literally store in themselves and double as a pillow when packed up. I also love that it has built-in snaps that turn the blanket into an emergency poncho (or just an extra snuggly hooded blanket), and you can snap it together with other Kachula blankets to make a larger space.

The blankets are also super durable and water-resistant, so they’re just all-around perfect for outdoor adventures!
Anker Power Banks

The next travel accessories on my list are Anker’s 3-in-1 Power Banks! I’ve tried many power banks over the years, but these are the first ones that impressed me with how quickly and efficiently they charge my phone!
I grabbed two of these 10,000mAH power banks a few months ago, and they are absolute game-changers! They charge my phone more than 1% per minute when not in use, and even when I am actively using it, they still charge almost 1% per minute. They also have enough power to recharge my phone fully multiple times, which is perfect for long days of traveling or exploring.
They have options for Lighting and USB-C cables, which come built into the charging block and doubles as a carry strap. But there’s also an additional port to plug in an extra cord and charge two devices at once. Last but not least, these Anker battery packs have built-in plugs to charge them directly from a wall outlet and a digital display that tells you how much battery is left.

I also love that they come in so many great colors, including black, white, blue, pink, and violet.
They’re currently running a BOGO sale on Tiktok where you can get 2 of these chargers for the price of one (mobile-only link), or you can get them on Amazon for faster delivery. Don’t forget to double-check whether you need a Lightning Cable or a USB-C!
LED Travel Mirror

Next on my list of top travel accessories is an LED Travel Mirror. I constantly encounter the problem of hotels and Airbnb bathrooms that aren’t makeup-friendly. Whether it’s dim lighting or not enough counter space, it’s often a struggle for me to get ready efficiently.
That’s where these handy little LED mirrors come in! I love mine because it allows me to do my makeup anywhere, whether it’s the desk in a hotel room or a dining room table at an Airbnb. The mirrors come with three different light settings (cool, natural, and warm), and you can even adjust the power of the light. The lid flips all the way back to double as a stand, too, so you can set it up on any flat surface!

These mirrors are also ultra-portable, weighing less than a pound. They’re about the size of a small tablet, which is just big enough to efficiently do my makeup without taking up too much space in my suitcase. I also love that they hold a charge for a pretty long time, so I can typically charge it before my trip and trust it’s good to go for the entire time!
Dr. Motion Socks

Dr. Motion socks have made my top travel brands a couple of times, but there’s a reason. I love these comfy compression socks for flights, long trips, and hikes! We’ve taken these on so many trips, and I’m a big fan of the compression level and the fun patterns they have.
Before you knock them, compression socks are a crucial part of every traveler’s wardrobe, regardless of your age or health status, because they promote healthy circulation during long periods of sitting or standing. Whether you’re on a plane, train, or car ride, they help prevent swelling, reduce the risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), and ease leg fatigue. They also support blood flow back to the heart, keeping your legs energized and comfortable on long journeys.
We have several pairs of these, and they recently released a super fun new Fall/Winter collection. They offer a variety of everyday and outdoor compression socks in ankle, crew, and knee-high options. I love that the everyday socks have arch support and a plush-feeling heel. The outdoor ones also have heat-retaining yarn and a cushioned sole, so they’re great for cold-weather hikes and activities.
Wall Outlet Phone Stand

Have you ever stayed in a hotel or short-term rental without a good place for your phone at night? I hate leaving mine all the way down on the floor, but sometimes there’s no nightstand, the nearest plug is too far away, etc. Enter these nifty little phone stands!
I got mine as a gift from a friend, and I thought it was absolutely ingenious! These super-portable phone stands fold flat for travel and are just a few inches wide. The top tab hangs between the charging block and the outlet, and the bottom stays flat, providing a small surface for your phone to rest on while it charges. The flat part also has anti-slip padding to keep your phone secure.

These are inexpensive travel accessories to add to your travel bag, but they are so helpful!
Rechargeable Book Light

I’m a big fan of travel accessories I can use at home and on the road, so I particularly love my portable book light! I read a lot, so if I don’t have my Kindle, I have at least one book to enjoy. But traveling often puts me in less-than-ideal reading conditions, so I always have this rechargeable book light with me.
This book light folds completely flat and is only about 4″ long, making it so easy to throw in any carry-on bag or my purse. It charges in less than 2 hours with the built-in USB (no cords needed), and it lasts practically foreeeever!
But that’s just scratching the surface of this handy little gadget! The built-in clip makes it super easy to slide onto any page, but you can also flip it open and use the clip as a stand instead. The head of the light is also super adjustable, so you can get just the right angle on your page without shining light into anyone’s eyes (including your own). Finally, this light has both warm and cool light options that you can set at 50% or 100%, depending on what you need.

All in all, this is a perfect choice for any traveling reader, and it’s something you’ll love having in the car, on planes, or even in your hotel room at night. And did I mention it costs less than $10 and comes in 8 colors? What’s not to love?
Portable SD Card Reader

The final item on my 2024 travel accessories roundup is a portable SD Card reader. I do a lot of editing for the blog, but it’s not always convenient to have my laptop out in the car or on a plane to edit photos and videos. I also have most of my editing software on my phone and post directly from there, so it just makes sense to do as much as possible through one device.
But it can be very time-consuming to transfer photos from my camera’s SD card to my phone’s memory, which is why I love having a portable SD card reader!
This compact reader supports 4 input sizes, including USBs, micro SDs, full-size SDs, and CF cards. It makes it so easy for me to access all my photos and videos whenever needed. As a bonus, I can transfer files from my phone to the SD card to clear up space, which is perfect for long trips where I’m filling up phone storage with memories. I haven’t tried this yet, but supposedly, you can also use the USB port to connect devices to your phone, like a microphone, keyboard, and more!
The one I chose has a USB-C connection, but you can find ones with Lightning connectors as well. It only cost about $14, but the convenience is priceless!

Closing Thoughts on the Best Travel Accessories & Brands of 2024
I’m a big fan of any products that make travel life easier, more comfortable, or just all around better, and I really feel like each of these has hit that mark in my life, so I hope they do the same for you! The majority of these travel accessories are also under $20, which is insane because they’re so small but make such a big impact.
